Band 7 (will also consider Band 6 development role)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic nurse to support the highly respected infection prevention and control team in Hertfordshire. This is a great role to make a real difference to the quality of care and improve outcomes for patients.
You will be a Registered Nurse with a recognised infection prevention and control qualification or willingness to undertake the qualification. You will have current experience in improving practice in infection prevention and control locally, have experience of delivering education to colleagues and demonstrate your commitment to continual professional development.
Working autonomously, you will inspire and influence staff, provide evidence-based advice on all aspects of infection prevention and control and support the senior nursing team with local investigations. Excellent communication skills are essential for promoting standards of infection prevention and control.
If you are enthusiastic, able to show initiative and a professional role model who wants to work as part of a proactive team, we would like to hear from you.
We will support you through the challenges of this exciting post with opportunities to meet your practice and educational needs.

In addition to the basic salary, this post attracts a High Cost Area Supplement of 5% of basic salary subject to a minimum payment of £1,017 and a maximum payment of £1,762 per annum (pro rata where applicable).
