Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust - based at Peace Children's Centre, Watford
Applications are invited for the posts of Consultant Community Paediatrician. Candidates unable to work full time are encouraged to apply, job share welcomed.
The post holder will be based at one of the three children’s centres in West Hertfordshire. All centres have excellent facilities and hosts several disciplines.
Children’s Services within West Hertfordshire provide services to the child population in Watford, St Albans, Hemel Hempstead and surrounding areas.
We are seeking a colleague experienced in all aspects of community paediatrics to join the team of 6 Consultant Community Paediatricians who are supported by experienced Associate Specialist and Speciality Doctors within a community children’s service.
There is multiagency working within the department including assessment of autism.
There are close working relationships with both Acute Paediatrics Services and CAMHS. There are strong links with Hertfordshire County Council, Social Services and Education Department.

Applicants must have current UK Full professional registration with General Medical Council and relevant experience in Community Paediatrics. Applicant must have CCT in Paediatrics or within 6 months of obtaining his or her CCT at the time of interview. Candidates applying via GMC CESR mush have CCT at the time of application.

You must hold a full valid driving licence and access to a car to use regularly for business purposes is essential (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
